The Government is looking to change the law! They are looking to be able to move encampments immediately. This includes roadside and private sites without planning permission!!
Don’t get all annoyed and write on here how unfair everything is and what t wouldn’t happen if you were black or Asian!!!
Black and Asian ppl fought for their rights! It’s about time you lot got behind us small few who are trying to make a change!
If we arrange a protest you need to be there! If you don’t want all sites shutting down and travelling itself made illegal again!
They are saying that our children suffer because we travel. Next thing you know travelling will be seen as a children protection issue. It will be Scotland 50 years ago!
Stop burying your heads in the sand and blaming others for your misfortune! Now you need to shout! Now you need to stand beside each other! Now will you all be counted!
A core group of GT activists and organisations are working behind the scenes to set up a united strong response to this.
The group is hoping to arrange at least 1 type of peaceful protest to raise awareness wider!
Until that point we as individual Gypsy and Traveller people have made a short term decision to boycott the consultation until we can come up with a unified response!
